Annunciators (Display)
Full colour LCD displays in a range of formats and sizes including single line, multiple line, wall, ceiling and desk mounted options all with configurable sound.
Vitalcare provide a range of annunciators for nurse call systems. Annunciators display current nurse call messages in real-time and are typically installed in hallways, nurses stations and common areas. While both LCD and older style LED displays are available, Vitalcare recommend single and multi-line LCD displays as they provide clearer visibility, lower power usage and modern full colour graphics. LCD displays come in 15cm, 24cm and 32cm screen sizes.
LED annunciators come in 4, 8 and 12 digits configurations. Some displays can be configured for touch screen functionality which allows staff to both cancel and scroll back through messages. The annunciator is configured to announce nurse call alerts in levels of priority using colour, audible tones and display sequences ensuring the most urgent nurse call message is most prominent. When not displaying nurse call messages, annunciators can display full graphic pictures, logos or time clocks.
Annunciators can be fitted back-to-back to provide viewing from both directions. Vitalcare recommend annunciators are wired to UPS power through either PoE connection or using UPS power supply points. They can be connected to the on-site nurse call platform by ethernet cabling (with PoE on smaller models) or WiFi.
Vitalcare provides nurse call platforms and critical messaging technology engineered to improve communication, workflow efficiencies, patient care and safety for hospitals, aged care facilities, home care and allied health across Australia and New Zealand. Key features of the platform include wired, wireless and hybrid infrastructure with voice assistant, RTLS, open API integration, enterprise reporting and tools, and industry-leading software. The entire network infrastructure is modular and scalable with in-built active redundancy.
