Vitalcare provide quality pressure sensitive antibacterial mats designed for use in aged care and hospital environments. They are installed on top of the mattress under sheets and can be connected directly to wired call points, or be wireless when used in conjunction with the Mat Transmitter.
In a wired configuration, when a resident leaves the bed, a nurse call alarm message is generated which identifies the room or location of the call point it is connected to. When used in conjunction with the wireless Mat Transmitter, a configurable message can be programmed.
Enuresis sensors provide wet-the-bed alarms for incontinent residents. They connect to traditional wired call points, but can also operate wirelessly when used in conjunction with the Vitalcare wireless Mat Transmitter. When moisture is detected, a nurse call alarm message is generated which identifies the room or location of the call point it is connected to. When used in conjunction with the wireless Mat Transmitter, a configurable message can be programmed.
All Vitalcare mats can operate wirelessly using the Mat Transmitter. This device connects to either pressure sensitive or enuresis mats and provides a IoT (LoRa based) wireless connection to the Vitalcare nurse call platform. This feature provides a versatile connection option allowing any mats to be used anywhere in the facility, and be easily relocated without the need for wiring or system reprogramming. Bed, chair, floor and enuresis are compatible with the wireless Mat Transmitter. The Mat Transmitter can be programmed using the Vitalcare smartphone application.
