Vitalcare: leaders in medical and nurse call technology, announce the release of the Nightingale Android App for healthcare workflow optimisation.
Nightingale enhances workflow allocation within facilities, enabling task allocation, escalation, and resource (people) management.
“Nightingale further expands Vitalcare’s customer centric innovation in healthcare technology,” said Logan Ross, Managing Director for Vitalcare. “This is something driven by our customers and application benefits are obvious.”
When a call for help is registered on the App staff can Accept or Reject the request, this saves 3 people heading to the same job while two more calls for assistance may be left unanswered. If a staff member is indisposed the call does not go unanswered, or if all three staff reject the call it will be escalated to the onsite Manager.
The user-friendly interface combined with Vitalcloud reporting software generates audit trail reports showing where that call went, who answered and who rejected the call.
The App also allows audio notes to be added via .wav files, engagement with patient notes, and integration with Health Level Seven (HL7) networking.
