Vitalcare has been around since 1986 and still has dozens of legacy systems such as 27Mhz and 304 still operating.
While this is a testament to our outstanding technology, all of these legacy systems are now end-of-life and becoming increasingly hard to support. However, we understand that facilities just don’t have the budget to replace the entire system, but instead want the benefit of access to technology such as pendants and call points without having to replace all the legacy equipment at once.
Vitalcare can provide an upgrade path that for minimal cost allows both legacy equipment and the new Felix systems (wired and wireless) to operate in parallel while old equipment is replaced as required. This also provides the ability to introduce wired nurse call equipment into an existing wireless system.
