Flora – Desktop Call System
Self-contained wireless call system suitable for consulting rooms, schools, allied health and applications requiring desktop notification from call points and wireless pendants.
Flora is based on Vitalcare’s enterprise scale nurse call systems architecture and provides nurse call and duress functionality for both staff and clients working in smaller facilities, consulting rooms and offices. Flora consists of an LCD screen which connects wirelessly to call points attached to walls around the facility, in addition to supporting wireless neck pendants and a range of other alerting devices. Typically the Flora LCD screen is installed at reception, or another central location where it is visible to facility personnel.
A range of call point configurations are available including customised facias. These can also include connectivity to hidden duress buttons and waterproof versions for use in wet areas. Ancillary alerting devices include movement detectors, door and window alarms, and out of bed sensors.
Flora is ideal for applications requiring up to 20 devices (such as call points in consulting rooms) across an area of typically 12 rooms or around 200m2. Coverage varies dependent on building construction, and can be extended if required with the installation of signal repeaters.
Vitalcare provides nurse call platforms and critical messaging technology engineered to improve communication, workflow efficiencies, patient care and safety for hospitals, aged care facilities, home care and allied health across Australia and New Zealand. Key features of the platform include wired, wireless and hybrid infrastructure with voice assistant, RTLS, open API integration, enterprise reporting and tools, and industry-leading software. The entire network infrastructure is modular and scalable with in-built active redundancy.
