“Frankly we can do better” – Royal Australian Commission
Can your innovative technology solution improve the quality of life and care for older Australians and others living with a physical or cognitive disability?”
Innovative Technology. Transforming lives. Shaping the future
Vitalcare is committed to improving residential aged care and home care for older Australians, and people living with a disability.
We want to inspire and empower a generation of innovators who will drive and thrive in our increasingly digital world.
With the Internet of Things (IoT) digital technologies are connecting more devices and data than ever before. We have engineers and technology solutions, facility managers have challenges and goals, students have fresh ideas – and working together, we can make a difference.
Our first Vitalcare Innovation Challenge recognises individuals and new business ideas that leverage innovative technology for social and environmental impact from student entrepreneurs around Australia.
The Challenge is open to all students or graduates with a passion for applying technology to positively impact older Australians, or people living with a disability.
About Vitalcare Innovation Challenge 2020
Vitalcare is all about helping Australians to prosper and grow
For over 30 years, Vitalcare has developed innovative technologies, helping advance the aged care sector in Australian and New Zealand. The Vitalcare Innovation Challenge 2020 has been designed to showcare those individuals and businesses that will help shape Australia’s future.
Australia is facing an aged care crisis. Driven by regulatory action, changing consumer demand and behaviour, innovative solutions and services are shaping new opportunities and customer experiences in and around aged care services.
In 2020, we’re challenging individuals and teams to show Australia and the world how their ideas for new uses of technology can drive economic benefits, solve social, health and environmental problems.
