Modern Slavery
Slavery is defined as the severe exploitation of other people for personal or commercial gain. This includes eight types of serious exploitation: trafficking in persons; slavery; servitude; forced marriage; forced labour; debt bondage; deceptive recruiting for labour services; and the worst forms of child labour. (Australia’s Modern Slavery Act (Cth) 2018)
Vitalcare has a zero tolerance to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within our business or our supply chain.
Our anti-slavery policy forms part of our contract with suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
Anyone with evidence, or suspicion, of any supplier, or customer, who might have breached this policy should be brought to the attention of Vitalcare’s customer support urgently.
