Pager
Reliable wireless paging infrastructure and devices integrated into nurse call system.
Pagers have been the backbone of critical messaging for hospital, nurse call and emergency services for over 40 years. They provide fast and reliable low-cost text messaging in most environments.
Vitalcare pagers use a high performance digital messaging protocol (POCSAG) with a unique electronic serial number on a radio channel corresponding to the nurse call system. They can also operate on area wide paging networks. Text messages are sent to pagers displayed on the LCD screen. Most pagers can store upwards of 30 simultaneous messages and incoming messages altert the wearer with audible alarms or vibrations in silent mode.
Vitalcare include on-site paging as part of most institutional installations. This involves the installation of a local paging transmitter and aerial on the building.
Vitalcare can also provide high power wide area paging infrastructure for public safety applications. This infrastructure is designed for five 9’s performance and suitable for any application from a large hospital campus to a state or country. This infrastructure has been deployed across hundreds of thousands of kilometres in Australia and covers entire countries in Europe.
Vitalcare provides nurse call platforms and critical messaging technology engineered to improve communication, workflow efficiencies, patient care and safety for hospitals, aged care facilities, home care and allied health across Australia and New Zealand. Key features of the platform include wired, wireless and hybrid infrastructure with voice assistant, RTLS, open API integration, enterprise reporting and tools, and industry-leading software. The entire network infrastructure is modular and scalable with in-built active redundancy.
