Reporting Analytics
Comprehensive facility and system analytical reporting all relevant KPI’s including response times, call volumes and devices status. Available within and outside facility on convenient dashboard display.
An infographic dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of the key facility metrics recorded by the nurse call system. This includes both current active calls and a chart on call volumes with response times. The dashboard can be viewed within the facility and is accessible securely from anywhere in the world using a standard web browser.
Devices on the nurse call network can be configure remotely though Vitalcloud. This includes call points, over door lights, RTLS points, wandering patient panels and dementia management systems. Setting can be changed, software upgraded and new features and functionality added. This versatility reduces the cost and disruption of site visits, along with minimising resolution delay times.
Reporting functionality is optimised to provide management with the tools to optimise personnel resourcing and performance. This reporting includes both historical and forward predictive analysis based on past call patterns.
From October 2023 Australian facilities must report the number of minutes of care provided to residents in aged care facilities. Using Vitalcare’s RTLS system as part of its Felix nurse call system, nurse and carer room presence can be automatically detected and recorded. This provides an efficient mechanism to accurately report care minutes in compliance with government standards and funding model compliance.
Vitalcloud provides access to both the configuration menu and reports related to resident activity which are typically used for supporting residents with dementia and degrees of cognitive impairment. These reports can help identify changes in resident behaviour as markers for deteriorating condition, or even a propensity to fall.
Vitalcare’s RTLS function tracks wireless tags, pendants, wrist alarms and duress cards around a facility in real-time. This information can be used to locate equipment or personnel and record Care Minutes for statutory compliance. When integrated into access control systems, RTLS can also be used to manage resident access to areas by locking or unlocking doors on their approach and reporting resident location as a nurse call alarm. RTLS is widely used in conjunction with duress devices.
Vitalcloud provide Open API support for clients who wish to ingest nurse call data into their corporate information systems. This includes both individual resident data and systemwide analytics for billing and benchmarking purposes.
Vitalcare provides nurse call platforms and critical messaging technology engineered to improve communication, workflow efficiencies, patient care and safety for hospitals, aged care facilities, home care and allied health across Australia and New Zealand. Key features of the platform include wired, wireless and hybrid infrastructure with voice assistant, RTLS, open API integration, enterprise reporting and tools, and industry-leading software. The entire network infrastructure is modular and scalable with in-built active redundancy.
