The Vitalcare Voice call point adds microphone and speaker functionality at the bedhead and connects to the Master call point where the audio is processed and integrated to the ecosystem. The Felix system can also be interfaced into any VOIP, SIP or DECT phone systems.
Voice call points work seamlessly with the Vitalcare Nightingale smartphone application by providing instant voice connectivity to a patient allowing care staff to establish call response priority.
The Voice call point can also run neural network software allowing it to monitor room sounds listening for any signs of distress, loud noises, unexpected sounds, answer simple questions (“What day is it?”) and take simple instructions (“help, I don’t feel well”). Ongoing developments of the neural software and related data analysis are focused on deeper analysis such as detecting audible symptoms, such as a Covid cough.
